Where Zeya works

Zeya is built for any video that plays in your browser. Today that is the Vimeo player; every other site is on its way.

Today: videos in the Vimeo player

A video that plays in the Vimeo player — on its own page, or inside a learning platform such as Brightspace — works today. Open it, press the Zeya icon, pick your language, press Translate.

If the icon opens with "Open a video, then press this icon again", the page you are on is not one Zeya can hear yet.

Coming soon: every other site

YouTube and every other site with a video: coming soon. It arrives as an update to the same extension; you will not need to install anything new. The tiles on the home page turn on the day each one works.

December: Zeya Live

Zeya Live: the speaker talks, and you hear it in your language as it happens. It arrives in December, in every plan.

Browsers and devices

Chrome, on a laptop or desktop — Windows, Mac or Linux. Phones do not allow this kind of extension, so Zeya does not run on one.

What Zeya never does

• It never breaks a login, a paywall or a copy protection. A protected video stays protected.
• It never downloads or copies the video. It hears the sound, keeps the words, and throws the sound away.
